 Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Yangon

Upon arrival, pick up and transfer to the hotel for check in. Start enjoying the tour with a look at local life from this 2000-year-old colonial city center, Sule Pagoda and Mahabandoola Park with the Independence Monument. Free time for shopping at Bogoyke Aung San Market. Continue with the visit to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda and 2500-year-old Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight in Yangon

 Day 2: Yangon – Flight to Bagan (B, L)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, visit the colorful Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon and Wetkyi Pagoda in Gubyaukgyi, a cave temple with exquisite Jataka wall paintings. Then you get to learn more about the local culture with a visit to Bagan's most famous produce workshop: lacquerware and wooden crafts. The tour continues with a visit to the elegant Temple of Htilominlo. After lunch, you will explore Ananda then embark on a horse-drawn carriage ride among the ancient stupa ruins giving you the opportunity to take in more of the surrounding Bagan. Visit to Thatbyinnyu Pagoda and Shwesandaw. Overnight in Bagan. 

 Day 3: Bagan – Flight to Mandalay – Mingun (B, L)

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, take a private boat to Mingun. Upon arrival, visit Pahtodawgyi Temple, Mingun Bell and Hsinbyume Pagoda. Return to Mandalay by boat and then transfer to the hotel for check in. After lunch, transfer to visit Mahamuni Pagoda. You can then stroll through the shops and workshops around and then visit the elegantly wooden Shwe En Bin Kyaung and Shwenandaw Monastery. To end the day enjoying the magnificent sunset view from the top of Mandalay Hill. Overnight in Mandalay. 

 Day 4: Mandalay – Amarapura – Ava – Sagaing (B, L)

After breakfast, transfer to visit the first stop "Amarapura", home to several thousand young monks, recognized as a center for monastic study and strict religious discipline. Departure to the pier to get a boat for "Ava". Here, you will receive a horse carriage native to the historical places surrounded by village life and visit the old wooden Bagaya monastery, Maha Aung Mye Bonzan and the Royal Palace. Afterwards, you will continue "Sagaing" and visit the Sagaing Hills, Oo Pon Nya Shin Swan Pagoda and T-Min Thounzeh. Overnight in Mandalay. 

 Day 5: Mandalay – Flight to Heho – Kalaw (B, L)

Transfer to the airport for a flight to Heho. Upon arrival, departure to the Kalaw. Here, we walk to Palaung village of hill-tribe called Pein Ne Pin village. The total walking time is approx. 2 hours and it is quite easy without steep hills. Continue with a two-hour walk to Myint Aka Village and visit an ancient Buddhist monastery in the center of the village, then get in the car and drive back to the hotel. Overnight in Kalaw. 

 Day 6: Kalaw – Inle (B, L)

In the morning, take a boat to visit the most famous Paungdaw Oo and the floating village Nampan. You will also visit some local workshops prior to transfer to visit Paw Inn Khone's weaving village and floating hydroponics system gardens. Continue by boat to visit the Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery. Overnight at the hotel in Nyaungshwe or on the lake. 

 Day 7: Inle Lake (B, L)

Visit the most famous Paungdaw Oo Pagoda and the floating villages of Nampan. The tour lasts in these local workshops and you get to see how these local products are made, in these small-scale local operations. In the afternoon, visit the weaver village of Inn Paw Khone and gardens of floating hydroponics system. Continue by boat to visit Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery. Overnight in Inle. 

 Day 8: Inle – Heho – Flight to Yangon – Departure (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight back to Yangon and from there, fly to your final destination.
